# Connect Roblox ranking

> Link the Roblox account Lumira should use for rank actions.

## How ranking works

Lumira v2 uses Roblox OAuth instead of Roblox cookies. The ranking account grants
Lumira permission to read group data and write rank updates for lower-ranked group
members that the account can manage.

## Link the account

1. Open your workspace.
2. Go to **Settings**.
3. Open **Ranking account**.
4. Select **Link account**.
5. Approve Roblox OAuth permissions.
6. Return to Lumira and confirm the card says **Ranking enabled**.

## Required Roblox OAuth scopes

* `openid`
* `profile`
* `group:read`
* `group:write`

<Warning>
  The ranking account must have enough Roblox group permissions to rank the
  target members. OAuth access does not bypass Roblox group hierarchy.
